Fairtrade or ecological gold

JLV Joaillerie is committed to working in the best possible conditions, especially with gold and silver. This is why we work with metals from recycled sources via our suppliers, adhering to the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and the Ecological Gold label.

For jewellery made from wax, the metals used are Fairtrade, recycled and the mines are traceable. The suppliers we work with are also members of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).

As for the origin of gold produced by mines, these are artisanal and small-scale, meeting the main world standards and respecting ecological principles. On a human level, respect for human rights, no forced labour or child labour.

Our future goal is to work exclusively with recycled gold and thus obtain an ecological gold certificate. This certificate would allow us to say that the gold is not directly extracted from the mines, that no forest is destroyed, that no water is polluted and that no human being is exploited or works in ethically unacceptable conditions and to respect my own values.

NB: JLV boxes and parcel boxes are eco-friendly and respect the forests.
